CASTING ASSISTANT PATHWAY PROGRAM
Recognizing the need for additional training opportunities in the field of casting, Casting Society created education classes to provide training for the next generation of casting professionals.
The goal of the Casting Assistant Pathway Program is to foster emerging talent and build equity in the field of casting, providing continuous support and community to our students as they navigate the beginning of their careers in casting.
Applications for the 2024-2025 CAP Program are being taken through Friday, December 6th.

CASTING SYMPOSIUM
An introductory casting panel, this event will be available for viewing to anyone interested in a career in casting prior to the application period.
Viewing the recording of the Casting Symposium is required before applying.
CASTING ASSISTANT TRAINING & EDUCATION PROGRAM
12 virtual modules with an introduction to working in the entertainment industry and a deep dive into the casting process.
All classes are taught by Casting Directors & Associate Casting Directors.

T&E ALUMNI MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
May 3 – Jun. 27
2024/2025 Graduates of the T&E Program that sign up will be matched with a mentor for a period of two months following their completion of the program.
Program Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old and at minimum possess a high school diploma or have passed a high school equivalency test.
- Interest in pursuing a career in casting is a MUST.
- Attendance at all 12 modules is mandatory to receive your certificate.
- Helpful to have basic office and proficient computer skills.
- Attending or viewing the recording of the Casting Symposium is required before applying.
